Programming Languages [Lecture] (3.0)
This course explores the connection of computer languages to the problem solving process. Students will use formal methods to verify the syntax and semantics of a programming language and a computer program. Students will examine languages using the procedural, functional, object-oriented, and logical paradigms. Opportunities to use a variety of languages on appropriate platforms will be available.
Prerequisites: CSC 245. CSC 311 is recommended.
