Biology Lab Camp

Roberts is excited to offer our fourth bi-annual biology lab camp! This program is designed for home-schooled high school students who want to get more hands-on-experience in biology. We will be covering a variety of topics from the cellular level up through ecosystems. Labs will include work with:

  • Microscopes
  • Dissections
  • Genetics Techniques
  • Environmental Testing

The camp fee of $125 includes a lab manual for you to keep, all the supplies, lunch on Wednesday, a t-shirt and fun while learning!

Dates: June 6-10
The program will run:
Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday 9:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m.
Wednesday 9:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m.

Cost: $125
(This includes a non-refundable $25 processing fee.) Due May 20 with registration form.

Some description Instructor: Rachel Graham, lab coordinator
Rachel graduated from Houghton Collete with a degree in biology (environmental emphasis) and from Simmons College with a Master's in Education. She taught middle school science in PA, MA, SC, and NY before coming to Roberts 8 years ago. Rachel is the instructor for general biology and microbiology labs and the lab coordinator for the biology department.
