April 7, 2016Roberts Hosts Annual Entrepreneurs for Change
WHAT: Roberts Wesleyan College and Junior Achievement of Central Upstate New York will host Entrepreneurs for Change with 110 high school students from the Greater Rochester area, who will come to campus to learn how to change lives and the community through entrepreneurship. They will participate in a series of activities, including:
- “Let’s Solve a Rochester Problem Together” high school entrepreneurship workshop
- Presentation from nationally known Enactus team about local and global entrepreneurial projects
- Q&A with college business students about using business skills to address social issues
- College campus tour
Participating high schools include P-Tech, Livonia, Caledonia-Mumford, Gates-Chili, Vanguard Collegiate, Edison and Early College International.
WHEN: Friday, April 8
10 a.m.-1 p.m.
Mayor Lovely Warren will speak at 10:15 a.m.
