On December 9 and 10, this year’s edition of the annual Christmas Gala ushered in the holiday season with family-favorite Christmas songs and carols performed by Roberts Wesleyan University ensembles.

It also embodied the spirit of holiday giving. With 100% of the proceeds from the 1125 tickets sold, the event raised $17,875 towards supporting student scholarships.

Music student Aidan Tallman is grateful for this impact on both him and his peers. He says, “With the generosity of the scholarships in the music department, I’m encouraged to make mistakes and learn from them. I’m able to learn from great musicians, get great feedback, and have a great time playing with friends.”

With both the money raised to benefit the character education of Roberts students and guests enjoying performances of holiday favorites, it’s safe to say this year’s Christmas Gala was a resounding success for all involved.
