Report An Incident or Concern

Roberts Wesleyan University is committed to establishing and maintaining a safe and supportive environment for our students, employees, and guests.

To report incidents or concerns, please use one of the forms below or contact concerns@roberts.edu.

When submitting a report, please consider the following:

  • We encourage reports on all incidents of concern, even if only partial information is known. 

  • Anonymous reporting is available for most forms, although anonymity may limit the university’s potential for follow-up action. 

  • All reports are treated with privacy and confidentiality in accordance with University policy and local, state, and federal laws. 

  • Reports are received and reviewed during University business hours; for emergencies, contact Campus Safety at 585-594-7777 or dial 911. 

Concerns about a Student’s Well-Being

Use the form below to report a concern regarding a student’s well-being. If it’s an emergency, please contact Campus Safety at 585-594-7777 or dial 911. 

Examples of concerns may include:

  • odd or uncharacteristic behaviors
  • indications of suicide or harm to others
  • suddenly discontinuing communication with a parent or guardian

Reports will be received by the Dean of Students, with responses coordinated by the University’s Care Team (“R-Care”). 

 

Report a Concern about Student Well-Being

Sex-Based Misconduct, Discrimination, and Harassment / Title IX

Use this form to report incidents or concerns that may involve any form of sex-based discrimination involving anyone connected to the University, including:

  • sexual assault
  • sexual harassment
  • stalking
  • intimate relationship violence

Reports will be received and managed by the Title IX Coordinator and/or a Deputy Title IX Coordinator. For more information, visit roberts.edu/title-ix.

Report Sex-Based Misconduct, Discrimination, or Harassment

Bias, Discrimination, and/or Harassment

Use this form to report incidents or concerns of potential bias, discrimination, and/or harassment by or against a member of the University.

Examples of concerns include any actions against someone with a protected class status that limits their employment or participation in educational programs, including:

  • discriminatory harassment
  • general harassment or bullying
  • bias or hate incidents
  • unlawful discrimination

Reports will be received and managed by the Bias Incident Response Team.

Report a Concern of Bias, Discrimination, and/or Harassment

General / Other Concern

Use this form to report other concerns or incidents involving an RWU student, employee, guest, or vendor/contractor. Examples may include:

  • injury or accident
  • disruptive behavior
  • threat or violence
  • violations of code of conduct
  • safety concern

Reports will be received by the Dean of Students and routed to the appropriate office.
