Knox Socks Show There Is Still Good in Professional Football Players

0 0

Among the news most publicized regarding the NFL these past few years, players have gotten in big trouble for drinking and driving, using performance-enhancing drugs, sexually assaulting others, and even gambling on their own games. All the fans see is the controversy surrounding players in and out of the league. With all of the bad that goes on, there are good things players do that are never reported because news outlets like to show the negatives.

Enter Dawson Knox, a 25-year-old tight end for our very own Buffalo Bills. Since last fall, Knox has been partnered with P.U.N.T. Pediatric Cancer Collaborative, a charity group that aims at supporting families who are affected by cancer, as well as improving the quality of lives of cancer patients. Partnering with P.U.N.T. as well as the sock company For Bare Feet, Knox decided to start selling custom socks after visiting a hospital and seeing every patient with the same boring gray socks.

Thus, Knox Sox were born, bringing joy to all that have purchased them. Not only have the customers been happy, but 20% of the proceeds of the socks go straight to P.U.N.T. Dawson Knox also donates $1,000 for each touchdown and $100 for each pass he catches to P.U.N.T. Knox’s idea has not only made for some cool socks but has raised money for people who need it. Knox plans to release more sock designs and expand his sock line to more apparel, including hoodies, shirts, hats, and more. If you are interested, you can check out Knox Sox at www.forbarefeet.com.
