i thought what we had was agape but clearly it wasn’t;
both your fault and mine
every relationship thinks that they have it but doesn’t,
most of the time
how should it look now that we are no longer together,
agape, like God?
even my efforts to love from afar as my brother
feel like a facade
anger and pain and some leftover shame have undone me
i’ve lost my own name
yet loving like God means to pray and forgive as He did me
hoping you’ll do the same
