People Development Strategies

This course explores how servant leadership can be used to build competitive advantage through effective human resource development. Students will apply key HR functions—including compensation, employee wellness, staffing, organizational development, performance management, and career development—to recruit, develop, and retain talent that maximizes organizational value. Emphasizing the importance of human competencies and diversity, the course encourages leaders to first understand and maximize their own talents before fostering organizational development. New focus areas include proactive conflict resolution, enhanced performance management, and retention strategies using talent inventories and leadership development plans.
