Problem Solving, Organizational Diagnosis and Change Management

This module introduces graduate learners to a cognitive problem-solving process based on Adaption-Innovation theory, providing versatile tools for addressing diverse organizational challenges. Learners will explore the application of this theory to Project Management Process Groups and Knowledge Areas, equipping them with the skills to effectively lead organizational change.

The course also focuses on strategic processes that shape organizational direction by:

  1. Defining the mission and objectives of the enterprise.
  2. Analyzing competitive forces and industry dynamics.
  3. Identifying and leveraging sources of sustained competitive advantage.
  4. Aligning organizational strengths with market opportunities.
  5. Developing strategies and policies that achieve the mission while balancing stakeholder interests.

These skills prepare learners to lead with adaptability and strategic insight, enhancing their capacity to influence positive change within their organizations.
