Profile
Dr. Brianna Diaz is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist and dedicated educator with a Psy.D. from Roberts Wesleyan University. In both the classroom and the therapy room, she is committed to creating spaces rooted in empathy, safety, and self-exploration. Her professional work focuses on destigmatizing and decolonizing mental health care, especially for historically marginalized communities. With clinical expertise in racial identity, life transitions, trauma, and family conflict, Dr. Diaz brings a deeply human, culturally informed perspective to her teaching.
As an adjunct professor, she integrates her experience working with diverse populations into her curriculum, challenging students to think critically and compassionately about the intersections of mental health, identity, and systemic influence. Her teaching reflects the same values she brings to therapy: authenticity, collaboration, and a belief in the transformative power of understanding.
