Carly McCabe, Ed.D. is a strategic leadership expert with over 15 years of experience across both higher education and corporate sectors. She currently serves as a Liaison at Excellus BlueCross BlueShield, where she leads organizational strategy development and innovation initiatives across complex healthcare and benefits systems. Her background includes over a decade in enterprise risk management, specializing in creativity, innovation, and upside risk assessment.
Since 2008, Dr. McCabe has been an adjunct professor at Roberts Wesleyan University, where she teaches in the graduate business program. Her courses focus on ethical leadership, ESG, innovation, and research methodology—equipping students with real-world frameworks to lead with purpose and insight. She holds a Doctor of Education in Executive Leadership from St. John Fisher University, along with advanced certifications in Lean Six Sigma, strategic training, and corporate innovation.
