Susan Dantoni is a pianist, organist, vocalist, collaborator, teacher, music director and physician currently working in the Rochester area. Originally from Staten Island, NY, she has performed extensively in musical theatre, classical performance, vocal/instrumental accompanying and liturgical venues. She is currently pursuing a degree in piano performance at Roberts Wesleyan College and is the collaborative pianist for the Roberts Wesleyan Chorale and Women’s Choir and the former collaborative pianist for the Pittsford Sutherland Choral Department. She is on the piano faculty for the Roberts Community Music School, an accompanist at the Hochstein Community Music School and the organist/pianist for the Rochester Christian Reformed Church. She was the music director/pianist for the 2021 RWC theatre production of For $ale; other favorite credits include music director for Sponge Bob the Musical (Stages); music director/ keys 1 for Rent (Stages); music director/keys 1 for 13 the Musical (Lyric Voices/Fringe Festival); music director and pianist for Fairy Tale Ending (Main Street Players/Fringe Festival). She is the winner of the 2021 RWC Concerto competition. Susan resides in Pittsford with her husband, daughter, two dogs, and four cats. When not doing something musical, she can be found working as a physician for the IMA Group.
