Redhawks Who Soar

Roberts Wesleyan College is proud of its 17,737 living alumni. Roberts alumni are working in the fields of healthcare, social work, business, education, non-profits and entrepreneurship – to name a few! After graduation, the soul of Roberts stays with our alumni -- read these short updates to learn more about their lives after college.

Here are this month’s Redhawks Who Soar:

Ronnie Sheth’04 (Business Administration) is the VP of customer success at Iconixx, an enterprise-class sales compensation software provider headquarted in Austin, TX. Sheth leads all initiatives for ensuring the success of Iconixx customers. Prior to that she was with IBM where she held various positions in their SPM and Analytics divisions. She also holds an M.B.A. from Rochester Institute of Technology.

Dawn Jeffords’02 (Elementary Education) is assistant principal of Highlands Grove Elementary in the Polk County School District in Florida. She previously served as assistant principal for student affairs at Jefferson High in Tampa. She also holds a master’s degree in educational administration from Jones International University in Colorado. 

Nicholas Grunert’17 (Business Administration) is Program Center Manager at Ruffalo Noel Levitz (RNL) in Rochester, NY. Grunert is managing calling centers at RNL for partner institutions (St. John Fisher College and Nazareth College). 

Chris Williams’92’00 (Social Work, Master of Strategic Leadership) was named the President of the National Christian College Athletic Association. He is the director of athletics at Southern Wesleyan University. Read more.

Liz Thrush’10 (Marketing) works for the Pan American Health Organization as a Project Support Specialist in Washington, DC. She also graduated from The George Washington University with a Master of Public Health.

Greg Coles’12 (Communication) published Single, Gay, Christian: A Personal Journey of Faith and Sexual Identity. In this book he talks about his struggle as a gay Christian. He is currently a PhD candidate at Penn State University.

Roger Haskins’81 (Religion/Philosophy) has accepted the pastorate of Pearce Memorial Church effective September 2017. Haskins is also adjunct faculty for the Master of Strategic Leadership program.

Chad Hardy’15 (Business) is a Gunners Mate in the U.S. Navy.

Taylor Isselhard’14 (Business) is a Compliance Officer at Delphi Drug and Alcohol Council. Isselhard graduated from Belhaven University with his M.B.A. in 2016. He is also coaching, one day a week, the throwers (shot put, discus, weight throw and javelin) for track and field at Roberts Wesleyan College.

Janice Ash’86 (Nursing) published Marathon Training Guide and Daily Inspiration. She has come to believe that running can be a beautiful way to draw closer to God. Janice is a registered nurse at Strong Memorial Hospital and has run competitively throughout her life. Her daughter is a current nursing student at Roberts.

Christopher Burleigh’09 (Nursing) was one of the caregivers who helped save a patient after he had a heart attack. Burleigh, who works at Unity Hospital, was part of a team who used hypothermic treatment after cardia arrest to prevent neurological injury. This story was featured in the Democrat and Chronicle on Oct. 10, 2017.
