In November 2021. Roberts alumni Bob ’07 (Religion & Philosophy) and Meg Hartman ’07, ’15 (Communication, Strategic Marketing M.S.) launched AltBar. This venture has brought non-alcoholic craft cocktails to people who like an alcohol-free social experience in Rochester.

 

Fast forward about two and a half years, and now the duo is preparing to open Rochester's first nonalcoholic establishment in North Winton Village. The space will be able to accommodate around 48 customers. “It’s really important to us to be inclusive,” Bob said. "The bar will have seating for seven, including a lower area for someone in a wheelchair," said Meg.
