Redhawks Who Soar - February 2018

Roberts Wesleyan College is proud of its 17,737 living alumni. Roberts alumni are working in the fields of healthcare, social work, business, education, non-profits and entrepreneurship – to name a few! After graduation, the soul of Roberts stays with our alumni -- read these short updates to learn more about their lives after college.

Annette Adams’03 (MSL) is the school nurse at Newark Middle School. Read the full story here.

Mark Santangelo’89 (Religion and Philosophy) is the Chief Librarian and Archivist at the Fred W. Smith National Library for the Study of George Washington at Mount Vernon. He leads the library’s collections staff and services. Read more. Watch the video at the top of this page at 1:25.

Sarah Fantauzzi’13’05 (MSL, OM) is the Executive Vice President at RES Exhibit Services. Read the story on her recent promotion.

Dr. Krista Damann '00 (Psychology) is a Clinical Psychologist with Rochester Regional Health. Watch her Athletic Alumni Profile.

Angela Merrill '10’07 (MSL, Art-Graphic Design) presented on Feb. 10 at the American Libraries Association Mid-Winter Conference in Denver Colorado. Roberts Wesleyan College was the first college in New York State to implement Alma and PRIMO. Angela’s presentation was titled, “Your Platform as a Service: New Features in Alma."

Maria Larner '09 (NSG) is the Director of Nursing in the Communication Center at Rochester Regional Health. This position supports the 24/7 clinical operations in the Communication Center.

David '08’03 (Master of Music, Music Education) and Michelle '03 (NSG) Heed are serving children’s ministries and church planting in Tanzania. They recently helped a 6 year old deaf girl find a school where she can learn sign language, academics and life skills. They adopted Olivia who is in preschool. David and Michelle also work with teens struggling with hunger and teen pregnancy.

Adam Matteson '95 (History) has his own law practice in Lowville, NY. After Roberts, he graduated from the Regent University School of Law in ’99. He is involved with Beaver Camp (AMCA), Double Play Sports, Mountain View Prevention Services, and Kingdom of God Ministries.
