Internships Opportunities that begin your Freshman Year

You have the opportunity to observe and intern beginning at the freshman level and culminating in a 15 to 20 hour-per-week, semester-long internship at the senior level. You can explore internships from a diversity of options as the Rochester area includes all major types of criminal justice settings.

Recent Internship Highlights!

Recent Economic Crime Investigation Alumni, Bobbi Paternico, '15, works as a paid intern at the City of Rochester Office of Public Integrity.  2014 ECI graduate, Nick Hanggi is now doing an internship with the FBI through his graduate program at Mercyhurst in Applied Intelligence, in which he received a full tuition scholarship from Mercyhurst.

Current Criminal Justice Majors, Kianna Farrell and Abigail Edwards received paid internships at the Department of Justice US Attorneys Office for the Western District of NY and Alumni, Kaitlynn Zaffuto, '14 interned with the FBI in Buffalo NY.  Also, recent alumni, Matt Hohler, '15 interned with the ATF.
