This program focuses on real-world lessons learned from industry partners, ensuring you’re learning precisely the knowledge, skills, and tools that are in the highest demand for game developers in New York and across the globe.
As a Redhawk, you’ll get a free student membership to IGDA, the largest professional association serving game developers.

In terms of pay, while the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics does not track game developer salaries specifically, it does more broadly track software developers along with Web Developers and Digital Designers, which game developers can fall under. According to their database, in May 2022 the median annual wage for software developers was $127,260 and $83,240 for web developers and digital designers.
