An Orientation to BSW Field Education

The purpose of BSW Field education is to provide an opportunity for the student to apply generalist practice knowledge of theories and principles presented in the classroom to problems encountered in the field. At Roberts Wesleyan University, field education is accomplished through two field experiences; junior field instruction and senior field instruction.

In fitting with our department's vision and mission, opportunities exist for senior field placements locally, nationally, and internationally because of our distance learning technology.
