Trust-Based Relational Intervention (TBRI) is a therapeutic model developed to support children impacted by trauma, addressing their unique physical, emotional, and psychological needs. TBRI is structured around three main principles: Empowering, which meets a child’s basic needs and creates stability; Connecting, which builds secure, trusting relationships; and Correcting, which helps children develop positive behaviors and self-regulation.
