Trust-Based Relational Intervention (TBRI) is a therapeutic model developed to support children impacted by trauma, addressing their unique physical, emotional, and psychological needs. TBRI is structured around three main principles: Empowering, which meets a child’s basic needs and creates stability; Connecting, which builds secure, trusting relationships; and Correcting, which helps children develop positive behaviors and self-regulation.

When: Starting soon! Thursday evenings or Saturday mornings
Duration: Two hours 1x per week for 4 weeks
Who: Parents, with free childcare available
Cost: $199 total per person for the program (4 weeks)

This is a cognitive-behavioral (CBT) group for adults struggling with anger problems. Participants will be provided psychoeducation about anger, understanding triggers to their anger, the anger cycle, and skills such as cognitive restructuring, assertiveness training, and conflict resolution. The group includes a free participant workbook through SAMHSA.

When: Starting soon! Tuesday evenings or Wednesday evenings
Duration: One hour per week for 12 weeks
Who: Adults

This group focuses on Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) skills and comes with a free workbook for participants. With a focus on helping participants identify their values and obstacles to a life aligned with those values, as well as skills for overcoming those obstacles, this group also utilizes metaphors and meditations.

The Unified Protocol (UP) is a cognitive-behavioral (CBT) therapy that is used to treat anxiety, depression, and other emotional disorders. The Unified Protocol teaches skills and strategies to manage strong emotions when they are interfering in daily life. The goal of UP is to reduce the intensity and frequency of negative emotions, through emotion-focused education, awareness techniques, cognitive strategies, problem-solving, and an array of behavioral strategies. A parent group runs separately, at the same time as the children and adolescent groups, to equip parents with unique knowledge, skills, and support for parenting children and adolescents with emotional needs.

When: Thursday evenings, starting January 9th, 2025
Duration: 1 hour per week for 12 weeks
Who: Kids 8-12, Teens 13-18, and Parents
Cost: $30/participant per week or $50/two children per week, parents free with enrolled child

The social skills therapy group is designed to help children and adolescents develop essential prosocial skills and enhance their social-emotional competence. The group will focus on teaching skills such as forming and maintaining friendships, managing aggression constructively, navigating classroom challenges, and handling emotions effectively. Conducted in a small group setting, the therapy aims to create a supportive environment where participants can learn from both the structured curriculum and the interactions with their peers.
When: TBD evenings, starting January 9th, 2025
Duration: 50 minutes per week for 10 weeks
Who: Kids 9-13
Cost: $30/participant per week or $50/two children per week
