As I began my search for a college, I knew that I wanted to attend a Christian school where I could not only get a degree, but strengthen my faith through fellowship with other believers. I also wanted to play lacrosse at a Division II level. I heard about Roberts Wesleyan University through my best friend’s family… her grandfather, mom, and brother had all graduated from Roberts. After visiting the Roberts website, I realized that this school had everything I was looking for.

On a chilly fall day during my junior year of high school, my best friend and I toured campus together for the first time. I had heard that when you visit the right school for you, you just “know”. I knew after my first tour of the campus that this was where I wanted to further my education. After meeting with people from Admissions, the head coach of the women’s lacrosse team, and several current students, my decision was cemented. When it came time to apply for schools, I applied solely to Roberts. I am so glad that I chose Roberts because of its superior education and professors, the wonderful community of students, and the common goal to honor God in every area of our lives.

I would not have been able to attend Roberts Wesleyan University if it were not for the generous scholarships I received. I am so thankful for those who give to Roberts. Their gifts make an incredible impact on the lives of students like me and encourage us to pursue our passions without financial burden.
