Violinist David Kim was named concertmaster of The Philadelphia Orchestra in 1999. Born in Carbondale, Illinois, in 1963, he started playing the violin at the age of three, began studies with the famed pedagogue Dorothy DeLay at the age of eight, and later received his bachelor’s and master’s degrees from the Juilliard School.

We are thrilled to bring David Kim back to Roberts Wesleyan College to perform again with the Roberts Community Orchestra.

The inaugural Carolyn Bowman Symposium, a day devoted to educating and creating for the performing arts. High school and college students, along with their professors and teachers, are invited to the Cultural Life Center to hear from with working creatives, participate in hands-on workshops, and network with industry professionals. Friday's evening performance of "Pride and Prejudice" is included with symposium attendance.

Resident Director and Student Led Spiritual Life Discussions

These are Spiritual Life conversations and discussions with other students to explore relevant issues for our lives and in the day in which we live.

Each semester the math and science departments offers a series of Faith and Science Luncheons. These discussions are designed to build community within the departments through explorations of faith grounded in science. Talks are followed by a lively, moderated, and informal discussion.

This year's event will feature a Spring Fling inside the Voller Athletic Center AND and Easter Egg Hunt through the campus quad. Hunt areas will be broken up by age groups, and each group will go at a different time. When you're not hunting for eggs, inside the Voller Athletic Center we will have bounce houses, entertainment, an Easter petting zoo, Gaga, photos with the Easter Bunny and Reggie the Redhawk, and MORE!
