Academic Progress Committee

Northeastern Seminary’s vice president and dean will appoint an academic progress committee (APC) to review and act on a student’s academic and/or professional progress as needed. The committee will be composed of the student’s academic advisor, a representative from student services or the vice president and dean’s office, and an additional NES faculty member, with the option of the student selecting an upper class student in good standing. The APC may, upon review of the student’s record and a personal interview, place a student on probation, suspension, or in some cases, dismiss the student from the Seminary.
