2019-2020 Student Catalog | Doctor of Ministry Program | Admissions

International Students

Northeastern Seminary is certified to enroll students who do not hold United States citizenship and who comply with all appropriate U.S. Immigration Regulations. Following acceptance into the doctor of ministry degree program students must present a Certificate of Finance and I-20 documentation before they will be permitted to begin class. The current doctor of ministry residency schedule will require international students to secure an I-20 on an annual basis in order to persist in the program. Those persons found to be in non-compliance may be reported to immigration authorities.

The distance learning and short-term residency structure of the doctor of ministry program, as well as the "continuation of registration" semesters that may be required to complete the dissertation, may impact visa classification and health insurance and repatriation/evacuation insurance requirements.
