Homeland Security and Applied Intelligence

[Homeland Security and Applied Intelligence Minor]

The minor in Homeland Security and Applied Intelligence (HSAI) will afford students the ability to supplement their declared major with the additional knowledge and skills developed through the HSAI minor. Students from a wide array of majors will benefit from an enhanced understanding of current national and global threats manifesting from terrorism. Students will also benefit from certain analytical skills developed through adding HSAI as a minor which are sure to enhance their career marketability.

Students are required to complete 20 hours via the following courses:

  • CRJU 2100             Criminal Investigation
  • CRJU 3040             Research Methods
  • CRJU 4100             Integrative Seminar (2 credit)
  • HSAI 1010             Intro to Intelligence
  • HSAI/CRJU 4030   Topics in CRJ: Terrorism
  • ARTS 1050             Foundations: Digital Media Art
  • HSAI 2000             Intro to Information/Intelligence Mining
