Learning Center
The Learning Center’s mission is to promote academic growth and provide the following services:
- Writing support
- Tutors or study groups
- Study skills/Time management
- Advocate for students with disabilities
- International students - English language support and assistance with cultural and/or academic adjustments
- Workshops/Seminars - Upon request, Learning Center faculty will meet with individual students or classes focusing on topics such as:
- Organizational Skills
- Research papers
- Memory strategies
- Study techniques
- College reading/analytical reading
- Test taking
- Library resources/internet searches
- Stress management
