Graduate Transfer Policies
Policy on Transfer Credit
Graduate credit hours earned from colleges and universities accredited by the Higher Learning Commission, the Middle States Commission on Higher Education, the New England Commission of Higher Education, the Northwest Commission on Colleges and Universities, the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges or Accrediting Commission for Schools Western Association of Schools and Colleges may be considered for transfer toward an advanced degree at Roberts Wesleyan University if it forms an integral part of the degree program and is approved by the Department and The Office of Registration.
The course being transferred must carry a grade of B or better. Graduate programs may accept up to a maximum of 12 credit hours (see individual departments for maximum transfer credits allowed). The course(s) transferring in must have been taken within the last ten years (see individual programs for any exceptions).
Transfer of graduate credit from other colleges will not carry a grade. That is, the grade from another transcript will not be factored into the Roberts GPA.
