The Educator Preparation Programs at Roberts Wesleyan University meet the educational requirements for certification in New York State. More information on teacher certification in New York State can be found through the NYS Office of Teaching Initiatives (OTI) website.
State licensure regulations are subject to change, and RWU offers several certifications, each with varying and unique requirements. As such, Roberts Wesleyan University has made no determination that our Educator Preparation Programs meet certification requirements in any other state or territory. This disclosure does not guarantee that any particular state certification or licensure authority will approve or deny your application. The Department of Teacher Education will make every reasonable effort to support applications for certification in states other than New York.
