Choosing Roberts Wesleyan University to Experience God's Presence

Meet Ciara, a senior at Roberts Wesleyan University. She’d like to share her testimony of why she chose Roberts. Ciara (pictured in the red shirt) will be attending the College of Osteopathic Medicine at Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine in the fall at their Bradenton, Florida campus.

Hello! My name is Ciara Roland. I'm a Biomedical Sciences major and super excited to get this opportunity to share with you. 

I've had many experiences when it comes to God and my relationship with him. Being here on campus... in my encounters with some people, I could just tell and feel that God was in the midst. I’ll give an example.

In my freshman year, I was at our orientation weekend with other freshmen. One of the professors was introducing us to being here at Roberts, and explaining to us what things will look like. 

At the end she said a prayer, and as we were praying, I immediately just felt God. I felt Him through the room. I have never experienced that throughout my whole journey of touring colleges.

Going home that evening, I went to my parents and I was like… I want to finish touring the other schools, but I think I'm going to Roberts.
