Roberts Wesleyan University Appoints Dr. Laura Falco as Interim Assistant Chief Academic Officer
Roberts Wesleyan University is proud to announce that longtime faculty member and dean Dr. Laura Falco has been appointed Interim Assistant Chief Academic Officer, effective November 18. She will serve in this leadership role on a part-time basis while continuing as Dean of the School of Business at Roberts Wesleyan University. This dual role will allow the University to stay aligned with its strategic priorities and support the success of its academic programs.
“She has demonstrated a deep commitment to faculty development, student success, and advancing our academic mission,” said Marlene Collins-Blair, Ph.D., Interim Chief Academic Officer & Vice President of Academic Affairs. “Her expertise and collaborative leadership will be invaluable as we pursue these initiatives and continue enriching the academic experience for our students. I am confident that her leadership will help us achieve our academic goals and continue to serve our faculty and students with excellence.”
In this interim role as Assistant Chief Academic Officer, Falco will be responsible for collaborating with the Vice President of Business Development to build external partnerships and explore educational opportunities in New York City; expanding the University’s online academic offerings to attract new learners and extend the university’s reach; strengthening collaboration with the marketing team to enhance the visibility of its academic programs; leading a Steering Committee to integrate the Seminary into Roberts Wesleyan University, ensuring its unique identity is maintained while aligning with university operations; and directly overseeing the Library and the Learning Center.
Falco has nearly 20 years of dedicated service to Roberts Wesleyan University. She joined the Division of Business faculty at Roberts in 2006 as an Assistant Professor of Marketing. She earned her doctorate in business with a major in marketing from Anderson University, a master’s in strategic management from Roberts and an undergraduate degree in business from Houghton College. She serves on the board of directors at The Father’s House in Chili, and resides in Chili with her husband and their six children.
