Our Alumni Are Living Proof
We are proud of the nearly 21,000 living alumni working in marketing, healthcare, social work, business, criminal justice, law, ministry, non-profits, the technology industry, and entrepreneurship – to name a few.
This month, we celebrate awards and accomplishments in our alumni network.
London Booker ‘16 (Childhood and Special Education) was recognized as one of the 10 Under 10 at SUNY Brockport, where he earned a Master’s in School Counseling and Guidance Services at a recent Alumni Awards Ceremony. He is a High School Counselor with the Rochester City School District.
Dr. Glen Schultz ‘68 (Biology) received a special Christian school leader award from the Association of Christian Schools International, honoring his lifetime of work advancing Christ-centered education. He has been a teacher, coach, high school principal and superintendent during his tenure in Christian schools. He is the founder and director of Kingdom Education Ministries. Read the story
Schultz is the author of three books “Kingdom Education: God’s Plan for Educating Future Generations,” “Understanding Kingdom Education: A Challenge for the Home, Church and School,” and “Applying Kingdom Education: Following God’s Instructions for Educating Future Generations.”
He was also a member of the Men’s Basketball team from the mid-1960s elected to the Athletics Hall of Fame in 2017.
Orla (Martin) Hastings ‘18 (Marketing) completed the RN to BS program at the University of Rochester School of Nursing in October. She is currently a District Manager at ADP.
The Goodwill of the Finger Lakes welcomed Ronalyn Pollack ’98 (Social Work) as a new board member. Pollock is the director of training and community engagement at the Center for Dispute Settlement and is a well-known advocate for women and Indigenous people. Pollack has served on numerous boards, including the Indigenous Health Coalition and RASE Commission.
