20 Soccer Players Earn Scholar-Athlete Awards
Roberts Wesleyan University celebrates academic excellence as 20 soccer players earn prestigious National Christian College Athletic Association (NCCAA) DI Scholar-Athlete recognition for maintaining exceptional GPAs while competing at the highest level.
To earn this award, student-athletes must be of junior, senior, or graduate academic standing and have a cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.40 on a 4.00 grading scale.
Women’s Soccer National Scholar-Athletes 2024
Juniors Emma Taylor and Kara Choate led a group of 11 members of the Roberts Wesleyan University Women's Soccer team on the list of National Christian College Athletic Association (NCCAA) Scholar-Athlete award winners.
Both Taylor and Choate maintain a 3.95 average which is the highest GPA on the team.

Men’s Soccer National Scholar-Athletes 2024
Senior Toby Balaam and junior Julian Silva headlined a group of nine members of the Roberts Wesleyan University Men's Soccer team that were named National Scholar-Athletes by the NCCAA.
Balaam, a Philosophy and Theology major, had the highest GPA for the men's soccer team with a 3.95, while Silva, a Business Administration major, ranked second on the team with a 3.89.
