This month, we celebrate awards and accomplishments in our alumni network.
Alumni Connect at an Event in NYC
On December 5, 2024, Director of Major Giving, Lisa Martinez DeVinney, hosted an alumni gathering at Tacombi, located on the Upper West Side of New York City. Connections were made and laughter abounded as alumni reminisced about their Roberts experiences.

Here are some updates from those who attended:
Sara (Saso) Nady ‘19, M ‘21 (Business Administration & Marketing, Strategic Leadership)
Saso is a former Roberts NCAA Women’s Basketball player and Professional Basketball player for the Egyptian National Team and Youth Olympian, she was recently promoted to Revenue & Marketing Operations Manager for Enigma Technologies, Inc. in the New York Metropolitan area. She continues to serve the community by coaching youth basketball. Saso is married to Roberts graduate, Karl McNulty.
Sarah Child, Esq. ‘12 (Communication)
While at Roberts, Sarah was Captain of the Women’s Basketball team with 1024 career points. She is currently an attorney with Jackson Lewis P.C. in New York City. Prior to joining the firm, Sarah served as a Judicial Law Clerk on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit and also previously as an Attorney Advisor for the U.S. Department of Education in Washington, D.C.
Joshua Moore ‘19 (Criminal Justice)
Joshua is currently pursuing an appointment with the Federal Bureau of Investigations (FBI). He is the Operations Manager at Avis, a major car rental company in the New York City area. Joshua enjoys volunteering at Epiphany Church in the Community Life department.
Kenya Matsushita, CMA, CPA ‘16 (Accounting & Information Management)
While at Roberts, Kenya was the Director of Finance for the Roberts Enactus team. As an accounting graduate, Kenya now serves as a Senior Accountant for Deloitte in NYC and is on the Board of Directors for the Institute of Management Accountants’ New York City Chapter.
Karl McNulty ‘21 (Physics)
Karl completed the 3+2 Engineering program at Roberts, in collaboration with Rochester Institute of Technology, and is currently pursuing a PhD in Electrical Engineering at Columbia University. His internships during his undergraduate program included work in the U.S. Naval Research Laboratory in Washington, D.C., as well as serving in the Silicon Photonics Integration Group at Intel Corporation in Rio Rancho, New Mexico. Karl is married to Roberts graduate Sara (Saso) Nady.

Diane Hewitt-Johnson M ‘07 (Strategic Leadership), the CEO at Chautauqua Opportunities Inc., achieved the status of Certified Community Action Professional. She was among 112 CCAP graduates recognized in August at the National Community Action Partnership’s annual conference in Seattle, Wash. This credential recognizes a demonstrated knowledge of carrying out the vision, mission, purpose and values of the Community Action movement.
Athalie Fiegl ‘22 (Communication) is a Resident Advisor at CAMP-of-the-WOODS in Speculator, N.Y. She oversees women enrolled in the Leaders Further Training Program, providing emotional, mental, and spiritual support. She leads outdoor excursions, helps with preparation and safety, and assists in grading students' papers and assignments. She also plans and facilitates creative community-building events.
Rev. Randy LeBaron ‘96, M ‘03 (Religion & Philosophy, Masters of Divinity) became the pastor at First Baptist Church of Medina about a year ago. Recently the name was changed to New Hope Community Church to reflect that it is a casual, contemporary Christ-centered church. When LeBaron first came to the church, attendance averaged eight to 10 people, now attendance is 50 to 60. Read the story
