13WHAM Bright Spot Features Brynn King for NIL Deal
Brynn King, a Roberts Wesleyan pole vaulter, is featured on 13WHAM's Bright Spot for becoming the first in her sport to sign a major NIL deal with adidas. The graduate student from Texas is coached by Olympic gold medalist Jenn Suhr and her husband Rick Suhr.
King transferred to Roberts Wesleyan University in 2023 and has since broken multiple NCAA Division II records and won national championships.
"Making the Paris Olympics was a dream come true and now I am able to represent adidas as I continue to pursue my goals," King said.
