Soaring to the NCAA Championships with Three Pole Vaulters
Roberts Wesleyan University's pole vault program continues to excel, with three vaulters heading to this week's NCAA Division II Championships in Indianapolis.
Defending champion Brynn King, who made university history last year as Roberts' first NCAA champion, will be joined by sophomore transfer Sarah Ferguson and freshman Austin Melvin.
The program has flourished under the guidance of assistant coaches Jenn and Rick Suhr, with the women's team now ranked second nationally and the men's team 11th among Division II programs.
