What Will I Learn?

After graduation, you’ll be ready to pursue graduate studies in education, mathematics, or other related disciplines.

You’ll have a mentor in both the Mathematics and Teacher Education department. You may participate in the Adopt-A-School program and other STEM initiatives.

You’ll graduate prepared to apply for New York State teaching certification in Mathematics for grades 7-12.

You may choose to become certified in teaching:

  • Mathematics for grades 5-6
  • Dual certification in Adolescence Education Mathematics 7-12 and Students with Disabilities 7-12 Generalists
