The School of Nursing at Roberts Wesleyan University advances the profession of nursing through education, practice, and scholarship within a supportive Christian academic environment for students, staff, and faculty. The RN to BS program is designed specifically for Registered Nurses to earn their bachelor’s degree while continuing to work. The program is completed in as little as 12 months with a curriculum that is stimulating, relevant, challenging, rewarding, and in a format that recognizes the needs of the adult learner. The coursework is offered in an online format. Students are required to complete clinical practice experience throughout the program.
Admission Criteria:
- Graduation from an accredited associate degree or diploma nursing program
- Registered Nurse licensure in the United States or Canada
- Current employment of 16 hours per week as a registered nurse
- Minimum of 60 semester credit hours of transferable credit from regionally accredited colleges and universities

Minimum Total Hours: 120
Total Liberal Arts Hours: 60
Minimum Requirements: Maintain a GPA of 2.75 in the major and overall; no grade less than C in the major.
Transfer policy: Nursing courses, A&P I and II, and College Composition will transfer in only if the grade is C or better. See Undergraduate transfer policies.

Other Requirements:
- Students can complete the program in as little as 12 months. Students may complete the majority of the remaining credits in the program through Life Learning Papers (LLPs) or other options. The LLP process is taught in HUMN 3010 and most students will be able to complete the required LLPs by the end of the program. Students work with the Student Success Advisor on an individual academic plan to determine how to complete all requirements.
