Redhawks Who Soar

Roberts Wesleyan College is proud of its over 17,000 alumni. Roberts alumni are working in the fields of healthcare, social work, business, education, non-profits and entrepreneurship – to name a few! After graduation, the soul of Roberts stays with our alumni -- read these short updates to learn more about their lives after college.

Here are this month’s Redhawks Who Soar:

Elizabeth Valento Bender’17 (Early Childhood and Special Education) will be a teacher for Spencerport Schools at the start of the 2017-18 school year this fall. Valento-Bender will be teaching kindergarten.

Alicia Sinicropi’17 (Marketing) is the Fundraising Coordinator for The Muscular Dystrophy Association. In this role she will be securing new sponsors, executing fundraising programs and events and building relationships within the community.

Denis Johnson, Jr’05 (Religion-Philosophy) recently accepted the Director of Multicultural Student Success position at Roberts Wesleyan College. Denis also graduated from Northeastern Seminary’17 with his Master’s in Divinity. Most recently he has served as an Associate Pastor at The Father’s House since 2006.

Bob Hartman’07 (Religion/Philosophy and Humanities) is Program Director, Product Strategy and Planning at MVP Health Care in Rochester. He is also an Adjunct Professor at Roberts Wesleyan College for the Organizational Management Program. Hartman received his Master’s in Management from Nazareth College.

Brady Fogle’13 (Studio Art) is the co-founder of Black Bird Design in Rochester. The company specializes in brand development including logo design, screen printing, pens, vinyl, posters and promotional items. The company was featured in the Rochester Business Journal in June. http://www.rochesterblackbirddesign.com/about-us/

Lauren Marks’16 (Cross Disciplinary Studies) is the Special Event Coordinator at Old Metropolitan Hall in Charlottesville, Virginia. Old Metropolitan Hall, which opened in 2013, is a restored historic event and wedding venue in downtown Charlottesville.

Destiney Fraguada '17 MS (MSHA) is an Operational Support Analyst in the Behavioral Health program with Rochester Regional Health. She is currently pursuing a doctor of Health Administration degree from Walden University (online) where she was able to transfer credits from her MHA degree from Roberts.
