RN to MS Program

The RN to MS program is designed for the working Registered Nurse with a Bachelor's degree in a discipline outside of nursing who desires an M.S. in Nursing Leadership and Administration or an M.S. in Nursing Education.

This innovative, time-shortened, and fully online program offers a unique path to a Bachelor's and Master's degree in nursing for registered nurses with a Bachelor's degree in another field.

Admission Qualifications: 

  • Graduate from an accredited associate degree program or diploma nursing program
  • Graduate from an accredited bachelor's degree program
  • Current Registered Nurse licensure within the United States or Canada
  • Current employment as a registered nurse of at least 16 hours per week

SPECIFICS OF THE R.N. TO M.S. PROGRAM

Minimum Total Hours:  53-56 credit hours

Minimum Requirements:  Cumulative GPA of 3.0; no grade less than B-.

  • GNSG 5300 (5) Research & Evidence-Based Practice for Advanced Nursing Practice
